The Northern Virginia Mustang Club welcomes our club again for a morning at the Mason Dixon Dragway. Here's an excerpt from the announcement:
"The drag days are on Sundays this 2007 Season and run from 8am-12 Noon. These events are Private Rentals and are (2) Lane, Full Staffed testing sessions and grudge matches do happen, all in all it is a great time. All NHRA Safety requirements apply, and proper attire (drivers) is required (1/4 Sleeved Shirts, Long Pants, Closed toed shoes or boots), Absolutely NO Shorts, Tank Tops, Sandals for ANY DRIVER
The cost to Play is as follows;
$60.00 at the gate (day of event)
$52.00 Via Pay Pal (deadline for this is payment must be sent in 10 days prior to event) Send to Enforcir@gmail.com
$50.00 Cash at NVMC Meeting and or Club Event
There is a $10.00 fee for all spectators (Track Mandated) ALL Racers are allowed (1) crew member FREE."
A few of us made the April event and had a blast. May was rained out unfortunately, but let's hope the June event has plenty of MCOM representation.
Here are some safety rules: if you have a coupe, you MUST have a helmet if you run 13.99 or faster in the 1/4 mile, and a rollbar is required on convertibles if you run 13.99 or faster. Some facts can be found here:
