I'm one of the new guys that joined MCOM at yesterday's meeting. Just signed up for this...coin flip between Carlisle and the OC Cruise, but I couldn't pass up a chance to see the show. Looks like an awesome event.

Seems like hotel rooms are getting pretty scarce.

Here's a couple websites that may help in finding a place to stay for the weekend. I was lucky & have a friend that rents a place to me dirt cheap... and I'm all booked and ready. I'll see if I can dig some more info.

I just got off the phone with the Carlisle person. We now have a tent reserved for the club! I put the $150 depsit on my card to secure the tent.


She mentioned that tables and chairs can be rented if we need them. Tables are $15 and chairs are $2 each. I assumed that we would provide our own tables and chairs to save cost. Let me know if you think we will need chairs/tables and I can call her back. She said the chairs are very uncomfortable. Best bet is probably to bring folding chairs.

I am shocked that they are still taking orders for tables ... I would have figured that they were totally out of space to give.

I am heading up sometime Friday afternoon, if there needs to be some things brought up now that we have a tent I may be able to take some stuff for the club.

If everyone brings their own lawn chairs ... then we may not have to worry about brining any more, yes no?

Hip, Hip, Hurray! U Da man. Now that's what I am talking about. It's very encouraging that the club and espc. Cory would take a suggestion and run with it. Any word on how many are registered now? Thanks man again!

Cory, My brother is interested in coming up on just saturday in his 04 gt, what would he have to do to get in for just the 1 day, he will be joining the club. I told him it would probably be better to wait for that day rather then mail it in.

I'll get Rick to print up some more brochures to hand out at Carlise. just what we need is more members. lol.
