OC Spring Show 2007

HEY COREY, I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS ON THURSDAY AT HEMMINGWAYS!!! I CAN EASILY WRANGLE UP 5-10 STANGS TO BRING WITH ME!

I WAS THINKING THOUGH, INSTEAD OF EATING AT HEMMINGWAYS, WHY DONT WE JUST CRUISE INTO OCEAN CITY IN A PACK AND STOP SOMEWHERE IN O.C. TO GET DINNER!

I DONT CARE THOUGH MAN, BUT I WAS JUST THINKING CAUSE IF YOU GUYS COMMIN DOWN FROM CARNEY LEAVE AT 5:00PM, THEN YOU WONT MAKE IT TO THE BRIDGE UNTIL ABOUT 6:30, EXPECT SOME TRAFFIC!!
SO THE WHOLE GROUP WONT BE SET FOR DINNER AT HEMMINGWAYS UNTIL AROUND 7PM, AND THAT MEANS THAT BY THE TIME WE GET DONE EATING AND HEAD OUT, IT WILL PROBABLY BE AROUND 8:30 OR 9PM AND WILL BE STARTING TO GET DARK!

SO THATS WHY I FIGURED THAT IF WE HIT THE ROAD AROUND 7PM, ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES AFTER ALL OF YOU GUYS GET TO THE BRIDGE AROUND 6:30 AND FINISH RESTING UP AND GOING TO THE BATHROOM, THAT WE WOULD BE DRIVING IN THE BRIGHT EVENING SUN ALL THE WAY DOWN TO OCEAN CITY, AND IT WOULDNT START GETTING DARK UNTIL WE GOT CLOSE TO OC AND THEN WE COULD GO TO DINNER WITH EVERYONE!!!

JUST A SUGGESTION, BUT I THINK THAT THIS MINI CRUISE WOULD BE MORE FUN CRUISIN IN THE EVENING SO WE CAN SEE EVERYONES STANGS!!!

WHATEVER THOUGH MAN, IM COOL WITH GOING TO HEMMINGWAYS, OR WHATEVER ELSE YOU WANT TO DO!!

JUST A SUGGESTION!!!!!

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ASAP!!!

IF YOU WANT, I CAN START CALLING RESTUARANTS DOWN THERE AND MAKE A RESERVATION FOR OUR GROUP!!!

THERE ARE PLENTY OF PLACES THAT CAN ACCOMODAT ALL OF OUR PONIES!!!!

B.J.S ON THE BAY
EMBERS
ETC.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU THINK OF ANY OTHERS THAT ARE GOOD AND HAVE BIG PARKING LOTS, CAUSE I DEFINITELY HAVE NO PROBLEM CALLING AROUND FOR RESERVATIONS, ANYTHING TO MAKE YOUR JOB EASIER!

Whoops. I just realized I posted this info in the Carlise thread. Anyway, here's a couple websites that may help in finding a place to stay for the weekend. I believe there is a large group from MACA that are staying at which I believe has a parking garage. I was lucky & have a friend that rents a place to me dirt cheap... and I'm all booked and ready. I'll see if I can dig up some more info for those that need it.

The cruise will be Thursday 5/17. Here's the itenerary:

1. 5PM: Meet at the Carney Park-n-ride in Carney, MD (Located on left side of Harford road just north of I695, just past Joppa Rd). Leave there by 5:30pm.

2. 6:30PM: Meet at Hemmingways Restaurant on Kent Island. It's literally right next to the bridge and you can see the restaurant from the bay Bridge. Two rights off 50 and follow the driveway all the way to the water.

3. Dinner at Hemmingways. Anyone that can't meet earlier can catch up with us here while we eat.

4. Leave for OC around 8pm and arrive around 10pm.

Please RSVP if your interested in joining us. I'll need to give Hemmingways a head-count for dinner. Thanks.

We are not 100% sure when we are heading down but we found a camp ground in millsborough Delaware that $7 a night so we are camping out. that weekend. We work over by BWI so we might just head down from work.

Is the show at Castaways All Ford or mustangs ?

I might be going after all. Haven't went the past 2 years because of money issues but my inlaws just bought a house in Westover and so we can stay there for free. I have to make sure I can get off of work with only 2 week notice. Will most likely be going down on thursday night but not going into OC until Friday morning. hopefully I can catch a Stang train on the way down there. Hope the weather is right!
