Cancelled-- Tech day at my shop in Westminster on February 16th from 10-2. We will be covering tires. We are going to mount, dismount and balance tires. I will have a small class on how the tire functions. It's not as simple as you may think. I will cover that plus many other hands on things that day besides tires. Tech days have a reputation for being fun everyone being able to get their hands dirty. (If they choose). Come on out!
Pm me for directions.

Dude that sounds fun. Do you have a bubble balancer? I learned how to m ount tires as a kid and had to balance on a b-balancer. I had to break down big truck tires with the rings and thankfully never had any issues with my rings. It was cake once we started doing tubeless tires for big trucks and the labor was really reduced.

ya'll have fun.

I'm in! Been a couple years since I've mounted/balanced tires. I can get practice to do my RTR's! :burnout:

Cancelled due to the weather and my driveway's condition.

Sorry guys but it going to be icy tomorrow morning and don't want to see anyone get hurt. Plus I can't grade my driveway since its still frozen. The are pot holes that you can loose a small dog in. Well plan sometime again for next month.

Good move Bob to cancel the Tech Session due to the snow/ice/slush weather and its affect on your driveway. Had you not cancelled this out we may have needed a suspension repair Tech Session this spring! :yikes:

Dang I was gonna bring my hot rod toyota to this event since I drove 1200 miles yesterday to attend! :bs: Well actually I did make the drive and I came to visit my wife.

Yes it is really cold and all day yesterday it never got above 35 degrees and not to mention the snow in the mountains of Virginia.

good times :btu:
