first time MUSTANG owner.

my name is Mark and I live in sykesville. I just bought my first stang yesterday, a torch red 07 GT. I been into the jeep thing for the last few years, but after buying a house last year I havent been able to use the jeep for what its meant for and what I bought it for so instead I am just driving it around getting mpg in the low teens, wobbling mud terrains and sloppy steering.

I decided I wanted something nice, got decent mpg, and was fun to drive. so after driving the jeep to the big jeep show in York PA saturday I was driving around and came across this

the dealer was able to get the numbers where I needed them to be so I drove it home.

according to the carfax this thing has spent all 4 years of its life in MD so any chance someone knows who used to own it?
its got a bullit grille, some sort of duck tail spoiler and its definitely lowered a little bit and the GT fender emblems have been painted black, but otherwise it appears to be 100% stock

Welcome to MCOM. It would be cool to locate the former owner BUT with the thousands of Mustangs in the local "Mustang Nation", it would take a huge chunk of luck to do that. That said, we do have a large network so it is worth the effort. You could slide under your ride and read the brand and number if the lowering springs are reasonably new. The Bullitt grill is probably OEM Ford. Post a pict of the rear and perhaps we can tell you the brand of the spoiler.

Congrats on the Stang! Looks good! Im sure ill see you around as I live in Westminster and drive through Sykesville everyday.

I just sold my Jeep too. I miss it but needed something that did better on gas, quieter tires and less play in the steering.

thanks for the welcome. I really LOVE this car. so far I have been getting about 23 mpg which is awesome compared to my jeep. and it is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven. its just plain DANGEROUS. between the purr of the exhaust and the way the seats just HUG me, I almost want to just take a nap while driving.

I bought a used set of MAC boom tubes off craigslist today. came home waited for the temps to drop a bit and then ripped the stock exhaust off. I fired up the car just for fun with no mufflers and loved it. then I stuck the MAC's on and it just didnt sound as good. so I ripped the boom tubes and currently have no muffler on there, but I am going to get some straight pipes fabbed up this week.

I also have a line on a C&L cai and an off road H-pipe for cheap. I need to get some sort of tuner so I can use them but we'll see how things go from here.

anyone wanna buy a set of boom tubes?

Welcome! Nice Jeep and Mustang! I've been doing the Mustang thing for years now and just bought a Jeep for my DD. LOL!! Didn't get rid of any of the Mustangs though.
