Eastern Shore Cruise July 16th 2011 - Bigger and BETTER!

Hey Guys,
My name is Chris Cervenka and I'm a friend of Bob's. I just joined MCOM and he asked me to host the Eastern Shore Cruise for you guys, so here's the details:

Who: YOU! and other Mustang/Ford lovers!

What: The event includes a scenic cruise along the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The
route will take us through historic small towns along the bay, across the Tred Avon River on a car
ferry boat between Oxford, MD & Bellevue, MD and into St. Michaels, MD we will take some nice
pictures in the parking lot of the Maritime Museum, browse some shops and walk around. Afterwards,
We’ll head down to Tilghman Island for lunch/dinner at Harrison’s Country Inn. There is also the point
of Tilghman Island which is a large paved lot that borders the Chesapeake which is pristine for a
photo opp!

When: Saturday, July 16, 2011

Time: Meeting at 8:30 AM

Where: We will be stopping at five locations:
1. Carney Park-n-Ride located off Harford Rd just north of Baltimore
2. I-95 Chesapeake House Service Area/Rest Stop located in Cecil County
3. Park-n-Ride located at the intersection of Rt-50 & Rt-404 just north of Easton, MD
4. Oxford Ferry parking lot
5. St. Michaels, MD @ The Maritime History Museum parking lot

Chris, did an excellent job last year as cruise director/leader. If I recall properly we had over 30 mustangs. The restaurant we finished the cruise had great food, and plenty of parking for everyone.

Im definitely in!

I am a new member and have not been to one of the meetings yet, but hope to attend the August 3rd meeting. Would this be a proper time to come or should I go to one of the meetings first? It sounds like fun.

We recently repurchased the '66 Mustang that my father bought in '66. I found it at Carlisle. My mothers ancesters are from Tighlman and my son wants to go on the cruise with her. Is there anyone going from the Ellicott City/ Columbia area that might want to cruise down to the meeting spot at 404/50? Will my son and mom be welcomed to go along? I would go too, but I remember as a kid sitting in the back seat and I might have to take a rain check. I sold this car 17 years ago and found it at the fall Carlisle show in Oct '10. Let me know if they will be OK to go. Thanks, Ralph

Anybody coming past or near Ellicott City or Columbia on the cruise. Maybe we can meet somewhere and cruise to the 50/404 meeting spot. How cool would that be with a bunch of 'Stangs going across the bridge together.
