Jeff and I joined at the May meeting. It was great to meet everyone.
We are now the owners of 2 Mustangs. Our 2012 Lava Red Mustang GT 5.0 and a 1988 Mustang LX Convertible (a project car for us to work on). The 88 is a 4 cylinder, the same color and year and engine as the one Jeff got his license on.
We are looking for information on restoring a car. We are new to this, though I do have some backyard mechanical skills growing up in Michigan and coming from a long line of automotive workers.
The engine on the 88 is in decent shape, but the convertible top is cracked (glass is excellent) and it needs some body and interior work. Ran a car fax report, was only in one minor accident almost 15 years ago and it has flipped the odometer once.
Looking forward to getting into restoring the car to be a show vehicle (relatively stock - out of respect). Can't wait to see everyone at the next meeting/get together/show.
