I just wanted to let some of the new club members know about one of the largest Ford shows in the area. The Carlisle All-Ford Nationals has about 2,000+ Ford/Lincoln/Mercury show cars and trucks that attend and it gets larger every year. I've been attending this show since 1997 and it's alot of fun. They have a huge vendors area. You could spend 3 days just looking at parts and other items for sale. I wanted to let everyone know now so you can make early reservations because the hotels fill fast. It's June 4-6, 2010 at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I went to the 2009 Ford Nationals this past June as a "participant" rather than as a "spectator" as I have done for the last several years.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in presenting my car on the fair grounds and look forward to doing so again this coming June.

Some people are like Slinkys. They have no purpose, but they sure bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I just received my Field Pass in the mail today from Carlisle. The Pass can be displayed on the drivers side windshield and can let you go directly to your assigned area.

The letter that accompanies the Field Pass is also good for the free Goodie Bag that you can pick up at the Event Booth near the grandstand.

This was the same procedure that my brother followed last week at the Style & Performance Show.

Last year was my year at the Ford Nationals as a participant Jaime and I had a great time.

I got there a bit late so I had to park a good ways from the club's tent but this year I hope to avoid that problem again.

In addition to showing your car you can also get some great ideas by checking out all of the cool cars at the event.

There are so many activities and vendors and exhibits to see you're bound to have a great time.

Just in case you cannot read Ryans post, the club tent is at the end of row II: the W on the map. It is right on the road very near the goody garage. It is the best location in a long time. See you there tomorrow.
Only about 5 of us there today.
