I must say that I had a great time too.

Highlights:

1. The kid with the silly string shot some toward the car in front of me but decided not to shoot some at my car. Maybe he ran out?

2. My wife overheard one guy explaining to his wife what a "saleen" was while the crowd around them got out their cell phone cameras.

3. A guy from one of the bagpipe bands joking that since he was wearing a kilt he could use either restroom at the Walters Art Gallery.

4. One guy shouted out to my delegate "Hey Jim! How did you get the nicest car in the parade??" Take that, Senator Sarbanes. Join the mustang club instead of bringing a corvette next year!

Craziest things I saw/heard:

1. A homeless guy on a bike came up to us DURING the parade to ask for $10.

2. A person that dyed their dog green.

3. A couple of chants from people tryin to get to me to smoke the tires. Can you imagine the burnt rubber smell that would linger there?....not to mention I was in a parade and carrying people on the top of the car!!

4. A woman that ran out of the crowd to come up to my delegate and beg him not to let them put in a new bridge next to the old one.

anybody else have some highlights/crazy experiences?

Those are great highlights Chris! I too saw the green dog & had to look twice to believe my eyes. Hope the dye comes out! Ha!

My memorable moment was talking with the guy at the entrance from Monument Street. He told me we'll need to take the cars to areas 5, 6 & 7. I looked at him like he had 2 heads...You've got to be kidding. I worked with the coordinator the night before for almost an hour & coordinated with each club member & they wanted to change the plans completely!?! Not to mention those areas were on the opposite side from where we were. After he talked to multiple people on the radio for 5-minutes, I finally told him...5 cars are going to Area 2 for the dignitaries, 1 to Area 3 for the Oriole bird and I'm sending the rest to area 4. He looked at me and said, "Ok, I guess that makes sense". I'm glad I could help out!

I did have a nice conversation with my Irish visitor, Noreen. She was the sweetest most down to earth lady and a pleasure to have in my car during the parade. Unfortunetly, since she wasn't a local politician or celeb, the comment I heard most was..."Who are you?" Even the grand stand announcer just looked at us puzzled & said nothing.

And I'm still looking for that area between the World Trade Tower & ESPN...I heard theres a group of Mustangs there! Sorry Matt...Had to be mentioned!

Those are great!

1. We saw a whole family with green hair including their 2 year old son.

2. Lots of drunk people coming up wanting pictures with the Bird.

3. Lots of kids wanting to come up and get pictures with the Bird.

4. The lady that asked me "How did you guys get such great parking places?"

5. Tons of people wanting me to do burnouts as well.

6. Great Hot Dogs for lunch. I don't know why but dogs always taste the best out of a cart on the street or in a ballpark.
