Dan asked about my Bullitt wheels for Evelyn. Well I tried to put one on Gertie and found out three things. One, the wheel studs were too short. I couldn't get a lugnut started. Two, the rims are deep enough that they contact the upper control arm when the suspension is fully extended. I never let it down to see if it would clear the control arm because I couldn't get a lug on it. Three, the center of the hub and dust cap stick out much farther than the '01 and it pushed the center cap out of the wheel. Other than that it actually looked kinda good.
So if you want the late model wheels on your classic and you have a stock drum brake setup like I do you may have to do some modifications. I don't know if Evelyn has discs up front or not and I know you have aftermarket wheels on her now. I'm keeping the wheels anyway just because I want to save all of the stock parts to the '01. It'll make it quicker to restore after I've had it for 20+ years.
