Checked some hotels, looks like I will be waiting for Americana to open in feb to make mine. Prices are good, boardwalk and indoor pool

FYI There is a new Hampton Inn that just opened at 4301 Coastal Hwy number is 410.524.6263. Rates there for that weekend are high, but not too outrageous.

Just got our room. We are at the Best Western 5501 Coastal Highway. It's a nice place. We've stayed there the past two years. They have Lobby Waffles! You can't beat a good Lobby Waffle. The kids are coming this time so we will be bringing the 4-door Mustang that looks like a Jeep Wrangler but it's still a converible and the doors can come off! :3gears:

Oh wait I'll be in the Jeep so this :3gears:

is out of the question.

Well l I won't be attending unless I get a call real soon to come home because of the jackass law makers and this sequestration happens and I know I am not the only one who will be effected and these kinds of events may take hits because of the fear of money. :yikes:

I was supposed to be heading back home for good this week and instead I am taking some time off at home only to go back to my job a very long distance from home. In short I wanna be :clinkmugs:

and seeing some stangs and cleave :eek:

Won't be making it to OC this year, all my money is going to my wife and I's 10 year anniversary getaway!
This is a surprise and the place came highly recommended, looking forward to it in April, also if I want to go to
Charlotte next year for the Mustang 50th anniversary party, I need some bonus points! Check it out if you looking to getaway with your lady or guy!

I'm planning on attending this year. In past years either work or problems with my back prevented me from going but I'm looking forward to attending this year. :btu:

A good friend of ours owns a condo in Ocean City and I'm hoping that it will be available for this time period. I'd rather use her condo but if it is not available we'll just find a motel in the area.

Anyone interested - I'm thinking of getting to OC via Cape May Ferry NJ to DE. If you havent done it, it's pretty cool. It's about a 2.75 hour drive to Cape May from Baltimore (across the DE memorial bridge, cross NJ to the parkway, then south to the tip), then a 45 minute ferry ride across the DE bay to Lewes, DE. OC is only about 30-45 minutes south from there, all along the ocean. Could be great for a cruise. The ferry is pretty big and it's great if the weather is, too.

I'm there. Staying at the Sea Bay Hotel on 60th st. A little pricey but the back area is quiet at night. Plus this way I get to cruise up and down the "strip". Just like American Graffiti.

We made arrangemements with a friend of ours who owns a condo on 69th Street and Coastal Highway to rent her place for the weekend. I'm looking forward to this event as it is the first time that I've had an opportunity to attend since joining the club in 2008. We will be coming down on Friday and leaving Sunday.
