I was checking out a very nice 64 Galaxie 500 XL on line {if you like them here it the link } and when I clicked on one of the picktures it had an ad for Carlisle All Ford weekend, and check out the car at the top.

That is cool! Lisa's car is very famous. Where ever I go and I talk about the Mustang Club her GSP comes into the conversation...and not by me but by whomever I'm talking to at the time.

By the way Ed, that 64' Galaxie is a real gem too! Back in the day the early 60's Galaxie's were really popular, stylish and sporty. This one was one of those performance, luxury models with the 390 engine and 4 speed transmission surrounded by the luxury of sporty bucket seats and a deluxe interior.

I once had a 63' Galaxie Convertible with a 352 engine with a 2 barrel carb and a 4 speed stick that got past down to my brothers over the years but it was fun driving that car especially in the spring and summer with the top down. I wish I still had that car today!

Apparently all of the Carlisle promotional ads are using Lisa's SSP car in the ad. I've seen several of these ads and her car is in every one of them.
