2009 BMC/MCOM Loch Raven Dam Cruise & Cookout

. The flyer includes schedule, directions, maps & other pertinent info.

When: August 22, 2009
Where: Carney, MD - Loch Raven Area just north of Baltimore, MD
Who: All BMC members, MCOM members, family & friends are welcome to participate.
What: Includes a cruise with numerous Mustangs (black preferably) in a fun spirited drive around the Loch Raven watershed area followed by a cookout in the park.
Schedule: The cruise begins promptly at 8AM and runs until about 11:30AM. The cookout portion begins following the cruise sometime around 12PM and ends around 3PM.

I will post up additional information including maps & directions as soon as I get it together. Stay tuned. Please post up if you're interested in participating.

A question for everyone...

I'm debating using the same route as we've used in the past....

or

Creating a new route that incorporates a portion of the original route, plus a new portion running to Pretty Boy Dam. This would include more driving & also require some highway driving on I83.

Let me know what you think?

I vote for a new route to include the Pretty Boy Dam. How about something like the old dam route to the Jacksonville stopover and then Jarrettsville Pike to Paper Mill Rd. to Old York Rd. to Manor Rd. to Monkton to Mt. Carmel Rd. and then I guess follow the signs. I really don't know from there because I've never been there. Plus the ride home could be quicker hummin down I 83.
