Mustang Club of Maryland

As last year was such a success I would like to extend an invitation for the Mustang club of Maryland to participate again this year...

As I know so many of you all were involved I thought you would like an update on the family we helped last year







We are once again adopting a family for Christmas and possibly thanks giving again this year, we have put in to get a small family again and we will post more details soon, However there are some things we can start to do now

we can use gift cards to Wal-mart ,target, food lion, and Costco..


will post details of the family specifics soon.

As I did last year i will be posting up request for help on other club sites.. feel free to do this was well.
For those of you who were not with us last year an update on the family we helped

1) thanks to an anonymous donor, the family was able to save their car from repossession, 2) we provided enough durable foods for the family that they were able to not have to spend significant money on groceries for 3 months thus keeping their power and water bills current, 3) through gift cards the family was able to purchase shoes for the first time in 2 years. I see Cameron out playing with his toys quite a bit. 4) the monetary donation were enough to significantly help with the family's prescriptions.

It was a great first year and thanks to M.C.O.M for the donations last year

Last year it was a special treat for me to be involved and I look forward to being a part of the effort again this year. Thank you Glenn for your generous heart. I would highly recommend this event to all. Even if you have to make a special effort to come know that you will bless and be blessed.

Absolutely count me in again this year. I'm glad we helped out so much last year. Thanks for the update on the other family. I'm sure it is even needed more this year with the cost of everything going up. Just let us know a date.

Some people are like Slinkys. They have no purpose, but they sure bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Ok we have received our families for the adopt a family event this year Jennifer will be the point on this and we are already collecting food for a thanksgiving donation.. The Christmas family will most likely be delivered the weekend before Christmas as it was last year but more to come on that.

We are adopting a family who Has 3 special needs children,

the oldest is a 17 year old boy confined to a wheelchair and suffers from Md, he loves cars, and so does his father

the middle child is a 11 year old boy who is very shy, likes pokemon & cars

and there is a 3 year old from Georgia (Russia) who has endured significant heart surgery, she likes Dora the explorer and Diego

Right now we need food, gas cards, gift cards to grocery or wal mart type stores, toys, clothing,backpacks etc.

It was a great weekend with 10 - 12 stangs, Mr. and Mrs. Kringle, a host of elves, and even a couple a of vintage elfmobiles, which sounded quite elf matic as they cleared the way for the procecession! Inside, there were goddies for all, and presents for the kids, who were very excited. First thing ya knew, there were 65 X`XMod Mustangs lightning up the room. Forst making one pass one wat, then a pass they other way. Lillte girls toys scampered for safety also as Santa quickly moved for higher ground!! All in all a good day it was, as we all left a bit more tired but a bit more happy as we did what we seem to do what it is that makes us so much more happier....spreading happiness as we go, and sharing our big toys with those who appreciate them. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!!
