It's time for the 7th Annual Catoctin Mountain Cruise.





And this will not be a race, it will be a cruise.

the date for the 7th Annual Catoctin Mountain Cruise is October 19th.
I went on this cruise last year, and it was my favorite cruise of the year, at one point in the cruise there will be a split if its done like last year, and if you just want to cruise, you go one way, but if you want to play, you go the other way {I don't think I need to tell you what way I went} and then the 2 parts joined again further down the road.
I will put together a cruise to the cruise when it gets closer, check out the video, its the cruise to the cruise and then the cruise.

I agree that is was the best cruise last year. A long ride in the herd through beautiful country side and perhaps the last chance to get out before the cold. Linda and I plan to mount up and ride again. P.S. Thanks for the video post. It brought back some good memories.

No problem Paul, I knew you wouldn't miss this one, I talked to Greg and he has been real busy with the racing, but he told me to go ahead and post up the date, so I did, I think I have it on 5 forums rite now, and will put it on more, I told him I would be glad to help him with it, but it is in the making.

It is a fun cruise and every year we seem to get lost. I should be there again. Too far out yet to tell but I'll put her on the calendar.

Thats my anniversary. Im going to try to talk Heather into going but I doubt it. She is scared to death to ride in my car. She says its too loud and she cant see over the hood. Whaaa whaaa

Hey Dave, Video from 06. My car was brand spanking new then. The guy in the white fox, not on purpose I threw a few stone toward his car, I was still learning how to drive it.. I think he may have been upset cause he didn't stay at the park

Some people just do the cruise and then go home and don't stay. Hopefully it wasn't too bad. If it was I'm sure he would have said something. Sometimes stuff happens. If you're going to take your car out something could happen to it. I think about that everytime I take mine out.

OK to update everyone, Greg has been real busy with the racing this year, but he told me today that the cruise is on and still set for the 19th, we should have a route and more detail's in September.

I will plan a cruise to the cruise also, like I did last year, I think we had almost as much fun on the cruise to the cruise last year.

Will more then likely start at the Md House rest stop on 95, then to Security Square, Mt Airy and then Frederick for the cruise.

Eddie, thanks for keeping folks up to date.

I gotta apologize for being so tied up and late on this stuff.
Just to show you how busy I've been, I have a Summit Point NASA event the weekend before the cruise, and am going to PA to race some Bandit karts the weekend after.

The cruise will be a time to mellow out between races. LOL

OK, here's the cruise to the cruise.

White Marsh Park & ride, 6:AM {yes that's AM as in the morning}, and we will leave at 6:30

Security Square Mall, by the IHOP, 7:00 AM, and leave at 7:15

Mt Airy in the lot directly accost from McDonald's, I think its a Pizza Hut that will not be open yet, 7:45, leave at 8:15, there is a McDonald's, Gas Station and Convenience store rite there, so this stop will be a 1/2 hour so folks can get breakfast, use the can and Fill up if they need to, remember, it will be around noon before we will stop on the cruise for this purpose, so get it wile you can

And that should put us at the State Farm lot by 8:45

Where is the White Marsh park and ride? Is it on the road entering the mall right across from the gas station and taco bell?
