Last time I went, with the Mustang, here is what happened. I pull up. The one guy looks at my car and goes into the office. A couple of guys come out get on their hands and knees and are looking under my car. So I get out and ask what the problem is. I figure they are looking to see if the cats are still on it.
So they ask me if I've had the car here before. So I say yes. He asks "Does it scrape on the rollers?" I said "Yes and they always ride the clutch." He says "Well your car is too low to go over the rollers." I say "I know and I've always asked if I could go around and back in" and they've always said "No". So someone just gets in and drags it across the rollers. So he says back up and go around and he'll (he points at his boss) take care of you. So I go around and the guy gives me a waiver for two years. He says by then we'll have a bay without the rollers for sports cars and other lowered vehicles.
As I'm coming out a Viper pulls up and he sends the guy around. So I talk to him and he said that every time he brings it in he gets a waiver for two years because it is too low and they alway say they'll have a bay without rollers in two years. He said this is a 1999 Viper and I have yet to have emissions.
As I was standing in there getting the waiver they took a Porsche 911 across the rollers and I heard the exhaust hit. Not sure why he didn't get a waiver.
