July 16, 2008: M.C.O.M. participates in the Rosedale Volunteer Fire Company's annual parade to celebrate and promote the opening of their carnival the same evening. Participant vehicles will arrive at line-up at 5:30 pm at the Golden Ring Middle School parking lot on Kenwood Avenue & Philadelphia Road. The parade route will be the same as last year - beginning at the Golden Ring Middle School lot and proceeding southwest on Philadelphia Road approximately 1.1 miles to end at the firehouse and carnival grounds. The parade begins at 7:00 pm. For those with GPS, the address for the staging area is 6700 Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale.
By the way, throwing/tossing of candy is permitted at this parade - just be sure that it clears the parade vehicles, so the kids don't come near the moving participants....
Please NO BURNOUTS during the parade!!!!!!!
