I have the Shaker 500 entertainment system in my car. A few days ago it started (Initializing) and prompting (CD Error) it does the initializing every so often, but dosen't seem to be able to fix it's self. It keeps showing CD Error and will not give back the two CD's that are in it. any idea's? |

It's been four days of my CD problems. I called Ford and talked about the problem with them. They are going to attempt to send a new system to my dealer for a swap rather then take mine out and be waiting to get it back. But either way they said it's got to come out.

The other day mine would not turn on. I had nothing radio or CD. I stopped and turned off the car. When I came back everything worked fine. Just like my Durango things go crazy in that to. Shut down and start up and all is well. They must use MS software in these cars and you have to reboot once in a while. |
