My drivers side window is leaving a gap between it and the rear 1/4 window when it is up (about 1/8" gap). It looks like the side window is going up too high (it extends beyond the rear 1/4 window). If I put the side window up completely, the window catchs the roof as it closes and the door doesn't close tight.
I've done a makeshift fix by not putting the side window up completely and then pushing the rear 1/4 window forward to meet the side window. I'm hoping that will keep water out until I get it fixed. Pray for dry weather for the next few days please.
I've got an appointment with the Ford dealership for Wednesday morning. I was just curious as to any ideas as to whats causing the problem & if it's a simple fix. If I find out it's a simple fix, I'll cancel the appointment, do it myself and save some money.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
