Hello - My Son and I picked up a 1966 6cyl coupe last weekend and are ready to start a restoration to daily driver status on the car. My Father had a 1966 when he was in high schThe car is good shape overall but has many of the "normal" issues. Floorpan rust, Fender and Quarter rust, some minor trunk rust etc. We plan to replace the front fenders and then do patch work on the quarters etc. The one job that scares me is the floor pans, I would like a suggestion of a place I can trust to do this right. I dont weld soooo I am not able to do this repair. The engine runs fine, suspension is ok although I intend to tighten it up and my son wants to switch over to 5 lug so we can put new wheels on it. The interior is great. I will post pictures of the car once I figure out how to do it. I look forward to being in the club with my son. Best, Chris & LC (Little Chris) - 66project |

Is it white? Does it have dual exhaust and a long tube header? |

It is red and the PO had installed a nice y pipe dual exhaust system off the original manifold. I picked it up in Annapolis. |

K. I was thinking it might have been my old 66. Guess not. |

Welcome to the club Chris! In the mid 70's I owned a 66 6 cylinder automatic Mustang that ran great but did have a lot of rust issues. I will be following your restoration progress and hope to see you at some of our club events and meetings. A word of caution when downloading pictures. It is best to reduce the file size of the photo for this format. Midnight Blue MCOM Historian |
