Hi folks, John here from Rosedale.
I actually joined the club at the '09 Kingsville 4th of July parade, but only just now got around to registering on the forum, although I've lurked here for some time.
I've been a Chevy man all my life, with my first car in 1974 being a '69 Chevelle 350.
However, May of last year changed all that. Having turned 50, it was time to rekindle my youth, and look at purchasing a new muscle car. The Camaro had just hit the salesfloor, and I went to look at one.
YUCK! Very disappointed. Like being in a tank. A little dejected, I dragged myself to the local Ford dealer to see the new '09 Mustangs.
Love at first sight.
Even better after the test drive. I wanted a red GT, but none could be had in the area with the options I wanted. They finally found one in North Carolina, and we struck a deal. I think I'm now a Ford convert.
Looking forward to the many activities the club participates in.
