I picked up this beauty in Long Island last week.

Anyone know if the missing paint under doors means they were replaced/repaired?? Does anyone else's under door look the same??

NOW THE CAR!!

BTW i found a cover for your back seat from Ford. its not the hard cover.its vinyal with a running horsein the middle. i have one for my convert. fits really nice and looks great. about $85.00. how many miles does have. just wondered.

You think they just "missed" painting?? Do you have a picture of the cover? I have the original cover, which I haven't tried on yet. The car has 6,300 miles. I hear the last and only owner kept it in the garage for the most part. I'm getting it I inspected it today!
I can't wait to meet others and their rides.

Yes, welcome to the club! That Cobra is in great shape. The best way to determine if the paint is from the factory like that is to check other Cobras, if they all have that pattern of missed paint, or even some, then it probably was a fluke with the line at the time. Otherwise enjoy the car, drive it like it's supposed to be driven... HARD...ish. Not so much as to get a visit from the local police man, but enough to let everyone know what it is and what it can do.
