Welcome to the club MichaelJ! As far as floormats go, I have always been fond of the Weathertech brand. They usually post ads in Motor Trend, Car and Driver, or you can Google them. Their mats are contoured to fit perfectly in the footwell of the car, minimizing any open areas for wetness to get to the carpet. I have them in our family vehicle, but not the Mustang so I cannot verify if they would inhibit clutch activity. Anyway, congratulations on the purchase of your Mustang! May there be many years of good memories for you that keep us all so in love with America's first pony car.

I can't wait to put some pics up. First sunny day I'll show it off. The one thing I've found already driving the car all over town is that there is a great vibe among Mustang owners. I'm not hiding mine in teh garage. It's my daily driver.

Got the weathertech mats on the way from Autoanything.com The have a sale going on right now so hopefully they'll workout.
