As we discussed during the January meeting, the club will form a Charity Committee to perform the following functions:
-gather nominations for 2016 charities
-verify 503c status of each of the proposed charities
-oversee the charity selection process, report final outcome to club membership
-manage communication/outreach to each of the charities regarding club events and meetings
-oversee charitable giving at the conclusion of the calendar year
At this time, Dave Rummel, Steve Tapper, & Bruce Wheeler have volunteered to join me on this committee.
Please reply to this thread by Sunday, January 17th if you wish to be a member of the Charity Committee.
