I was wondering if anyone could help me with my predicament with my vinyl headrests in my car. I have special edition headrests on my car from the factory (they have a pony stitched into them). I just bought new seat upholstery that comes with standard, blank headrest covers. I havent been able to compare the new upholstery with the color on the old headrests in proper lighting, but it could be more yellowed compared to the fresh white seats.
My question is, do you guys think I could clean them up to be whiter, since they're only headrests (and the passenger one has rarely been used) and made out of vinyl? If so, what products do you recommend? Or do you think it would be possible to use vinyl dye and spray them? I'm familiar with the prep required for redying vinyl and I would use the proper products as well, so hopefully it would stick, I'm just not sure how good it would look on the stitched pony (might look obviously spray-painted). I'm just trying to avoid buying new ones, as they're expensive.

edit - Wait, I might just buy new ones, I JUST NOW realized that its 79.99 for a pair, not for just 1... Thats not that bad, but still if you guys think I can clean em up I'll just do that
