Anybody have thoughts on this shop? Looking to have an engine/trans install on the '66 and they are only a few miles away from me...

Yep. I talked extensively with Rick last night. He recommended that since Bob is currently unable to assist until after the holidays that I check with Revolution to help mainly with the trans part of the install (AOD). In the conversation, we ID'd three projects so far; drivetrain, rewiring, and new springs all around. I was poking around the intertubes reading up on Revolution and had found a few references to JPC. Figured it was worth a shot to ask here...

Unfortunately Bob is extremely busy with other projects. I spoke with him today about this project and he can't fit you in. I will check around my other resources in NVMC and get back to you.

OK, to provide a bit of clarification for why I'm trying to get the engine done before Christmas:
I'm racing my father who is building a Manx dune buggy. We are on the same pace to get our respective engine's in and I have the shot of getting mine in first. He lives in Cali and is coming out for Christmas. I would love to have it in before he gets here. It's all a matter of bragging rights!!! :btu:

I am bummed that Bob is booked, but at the same time that attests to his talent/abilities/skill. :bows:
