Hi I am looking for recommendations on places to buy and apply some stripes for my blue convertible. I really like the center stripe and the blue running horses side stripe at fordcustomgraphics.com. The advantage of using them is that Ford does everything thru their dealerships and guarantees the work. The disadvantage is the price. So does anyone know a place (hopefully not to far from Ellicott City) that might have the same or equivalent quality stripes for less and does great work? The enclosed graphic (from fordcustomgraphics.com.) shows what I am looking for. thanks Ron

If you can get the graphics, I can put them on if you can lend a hand. Its easier with 2 people. Plus I got the shop to do it in. |

Firstly, everyone has their own taste and that is the way it should be. That said, I checked out the Ford site listed and could not find anything I liked. The power bump is the best feature on the 5.0 in my book but nothing did it justice. My advise is just not to be in a big hurry to get something done. Observe 10-11 in real time (shows, cruises, etc.), on Mustang sites, Ebay sellers and vendors. Get what you really like and Do Not settle. Find some picts or outlines of your ride and play around with a pencil and consider getting a custom strip/graphic. My mother always encouraged me to be an engine not a caboose. |
