I have been looking at Mustangs for a while. I found a used one that is exactly the way I would have ordered it. It is an '05 4.0 loaded with about 23K miles. Is there anything specific I should check for or avoid. This will be my first Ford so I am hoping for a good experience. Before all the V8 advocates start telling me to buy a GT instead look at my sig. I don't need another hi-po vehicle. I just want an everyday driver that gets decent economy in both fuel & insurance that looks cool and is not a rice burner. |

You can see by my sig what I own. But I just had an '06 V6 as a loaner car (while my Toyota was being serviced), and was very happy with it. It has as much HP as my '85 Mustang GT did, and more torque than I expected. And was still easy to drive in the rain. Afraid I can't speak specifically about any issues, though. That being said, personally, I'd always go with a convertable, because it can make any car more fun to drive. |
