To answer your question, Yes a ford spare, jack and lug wrench will fit in the space provided.

Much to my dismay, my 2012 V6 convertible did not come with a spare tire. There is a well in the trunk that appears to be capable of holding a spare tire of some sort. Currently, that well has the device that apparently fills your flat with goop and then enough air to get you back on the road. Not familiar with system, I do not feel comfortable with it. Will a tire, with rim, fit in trunk where the Rube Goldberg device is? |

One should fit. I had an extra spare but I gave it away about 6 months ago. |

Did it come with a jack? I heard that most manufacturers are dropping the extra weight to get better mileage. |

Well, the local dealer wasn't very helpful. I then went to Ford Motor website and wound up instant chatting with a Ford parts specialist. I was told that Ford does not make a spare (of any sort) for my car (gave him the VIN). I informed the Ford guy that I found, on-line, a reference to a Ford Wheel Kit having the part number CR3Z1K007A. After waiting a considerable amount of time he responded by saying that that kit would not work with my car because I have 18 inch wheels. Anyone suggest an aftermarket alternative? |
