The September 2010 edition of Motor Trend arrived today. This edition featured it's New Car Guide listing every make and model of automobile sold in the US. Not surprisingly it gave the entire Ford Mustang lineup a top notch review. Ford Mustang/GT/Shelby GT 500 Base Price Range: $22,995-$54,495 Body Type: Coupe, Convertible What's New: For 2011, the Ford Mustang got it's most comprehensive powertrain update in over a decade. New DOHC V-6 and V-8 replaced the old SOHC mills,and 5-sp gearboxes were swapped out for 6-sp trans. GT 500 models receive aluminum-block engines and an extra 10 hp. Cool Fact: A 2011 Mustang V-6 comes within 10 hp of the 2010 Mustang's 315 hp V-8 rating. Sum Up: PONYCAR KING **** 1/2 stars Midnight Blue MCOM Historian |
