I have both fuel and oil on my pillar and neither make a peep. You can't run mechanical fuel pressure inside a car because if you get into an accident....well you know.... I have mechanical oil pressure and it works great! |

Its weird my car never made a sound till I had them installed. It is a Auto meter Cobalt series fuel gauge and oil press gauge. |

The pillar could be creaking on the gauge. But the gauge itself shouldn't make any noise. If you put your ear up to my fuel pressure gauge you can hear a faint small electric motor like sound. But its sooooo slight that you can't hear it unless you did something rediculas like that. I have autometer phantom gauges in my 5.0. |
