Why dont the rear windows on most 4 door cars not go all the way down?

Look at the door.... Where would you put the glass at? You have a curve in the rear door you cannot put a large square piece of glass in it now can you? Next time you see one look at the size of the door then look at the size of the glass.

How can I get better heat to the people\kids in the rear seat?

Make sure your air door is in the fresh air mode. Your car has vents in the rear which will allow air to come from the heater box and flush straight through your car and right out of the back. You may think that having it on recirculate would heat it up faster but all your doing is blowing hot air on the floor just to suck it right back up into the heater box, Nothing is going to the back seats in that mode.

Did you know that you A\C compressor runs in defrost mode? It also runs when its in floor\defrost mode. If you have automatic climate control, it runs in all modes when in automatic.
However it does not run when your in the floor or vent mode.

Your A\C compressor will decrease your fuel mileage and work everything harder so why run it if you dont need it?

Did you know that when you turn on your wipers when they are frozen to the windshield, if you dont shut the ignition off and free them up it can burn up the wiper motor or the park position in the motor. The wiper motor will keep tring to operate the wipers untill they return back to the park position.

You know when you see the guy whos wipers are parked right in the middle of the windshield? :bs: Ask him if they started doing that right after a snow\ice storm? I bet I know what happened.....

Its possible to drive under the rear end of a tractor trailer sideways at 70 MPH, get drug for a few thousand feet, walk away without a single injury and repair the car.

96' and up Mustangs:

If your car is running hot, check the plug on the electric fan motor (from the harness). If it's too hot to touch, the internal switch is going bad. There are 2 stages of cooling; high and low. If the fan stays on low, the electric motor needs to be replaced. Takes 15 minutes to replace.

If you smell a light anti-freeze burn for several weeks, inspect your manifold even if you have the aluminum crossover. There may be a hairline crack some where caused by the added stress of the above problem (electric fan going up).

If your driving up I95 doing 80 mph and you see a large puff protruding from under your hood and the engine sputters, you've blown your FORD plastic intake!!! See precautions above...LOL

I've discovered that even if you have an updated manifold, it can still develop hairline cracks because of the age of the plastic!!! I forsee this happening to alot of 96 and up Mustangs with the updated manifold. (mine had the updated manifold)

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago...
