Thats cool that he used a stang for his idea but the horsepower, mph, and 0 to 60 have to be way off. I used to race a 510 hp car that would still only go 0 to 60 in 3.38sec. Thats fast. Im not even sure if my fox would even run 0-60 that fast. 400hp okay. Over 100mph with 400hp, I sure hope so. Id have to see it as well. Add me to the list if its true! Hell, you have people driving Hybrids with around 50hp and only getting about 50mpg. |

One story I heard is that its all in how you present the data. If he is using 85% Ethanol and 15% gas and for simplicity say he gets 30 mpg traveling 300 miles. He used 10 gallons of "fuel", 8.5 gallons being Ethanol and 1.5 gallons being gas. Therefore in that 300 miles he really only used 1.5 gallons of gas and got 200 mpg on gas. If that's true then my buddy's diesel F-250 gets infinite miles per gallon on gas...but it still costs him almost $200 to fill it up. |
