Its been a while but we had an impromptu racing session at Jim's house. I had mounted my GoPro to one of my slot cars to get the on-track video. It was a bit top heavy so it was a challenge to drive as you will see. Enjoy. We run 1/32 scale. If anyone is interested hit me up and we will arrange something.  |

I knew it had to be Jim D before I ever saw him. Looks like the track has been heavily modded since I was there. Very sweet. Great hobby for sure. |

@Bob: We run 1/32 scale. Jim and I both have our tracks up now. Our other friend Keith's track is covered with remote control cars now. We also run HO scale but right now we don't have any of the tracks set up. @Paul: All of our tracks have definitely evolved over the years. |

I have so been looking for a reason to break out the ole slot cars.....i have a nice collection of 1/24th and 1/32nd stuff..its been a long time..Have a cool probe pro stocker too...winged cars etc. etc. etc. |

Nice reminds me of my tyco track when I was a kid. I have a couple of 1979 z-28's and a bandit T/A if I recall and the cat loved smacking my cars. |

just dug my stuff out of the garage today..a whole box full of stuff ..tires are all dried out..wonder if any of em still run..hmmmm....the drag kit hasnt even been touched...oh boy

I used to run 1/24th in Aberdeen years ago at John's Slot Car. I still have my cars but same as yours the tires are all dried up now. |

me too...spent many a hour at Johns slot car world in Aberdeen. raced in the 4 1/2 and 4" nascar classes and some wing car classes ..can't really remember... gtp??? its all foggy |

Then we ran into each other because my buddy and I ran 4 1/2" NASCAR up there too. I had a 4" NASCAR also but didn't race in the series as much. I had some other cars that I played around with and we did some drag racing as well. Another guy and I won the endurance race they had there one year. I still have the trophy.I remember my buddy called me and said "Hey this new slot car placed opened. Let's check it out." We rented some Womps and ran then around and we were hooked. I just wish I would have had a place to put one of those tracks when he sold them. Lots of good times up there. I would love to open something like that around my house. |
