I just put flowmasters American thunder 60 series axle back on my 06 GT I listened to the video on American muscle and it sounded great compared to the stock but now that I have it on my car it doesn't sound much louder then stock at idle. If anyone has any suggestions how I can get it louder and keep it street legal I would really appreciate it Thanks |

It really depends how loud you want it. They're all pretty quiet at idle but be careful going to loud because they love to drone. Better yet.... keep the mufflers and get high flow cats. That will wake it up and make it sound WAY better! |

Pretty much any high flow cats. If you want it to run and sound like a beast its pretty simple, JLT cold air or BBK (which I have both the street and track version for sale cheap) $150 for both BBK street and track SCT tuner from Bama tunes with lifetime tunes $399 (A MUST!) High flow cats $? and if you really wanna go all out with a bad ass sound, Long tube headders from Boost Brothers (Ebay about $550?) If you plan on going with long tubes the midpipe has to be changed. You can get them with high flow cats. I had a set up like that on my 09 for a while. Then I went all out with cams, long tubes, cold air, shaker hood scoop, tune and side exhaust. |

Had those on my 06, was really happy with them. Neighbors at the campground hated when I'd go golf on Sunday morning. Too loud for them to sleep through |
