Hey guys I found some wheels I like but need some help. I am going with a staggered setup : 18x9's in the front and 18x10's in the back. The back spacing and lug nut pattern are good to go but I dont know about the offset. The fronts have a +36mm offset. The rears have +43mm offset. Will this work? I do have the Ford steering stops(steering limiters - however you want to say it) 6R3Z-3932-CA that a friend gave me that will help. The thing is I dont want to mess with the steering if I dont have to and If I do put the stops on, the wheel might bump out even farther than it needs to be which will be outside the fender well and illegal. Can you guys help me out and tell me if these wheels will work and if they will need or not need the stops! Much Appreciated!!!

If I recall correctly that is the perfect offset to have the tires virtually flush with the wheelwell

I have some Magnum 500 wheels 18x9 and 10s offsets are 36 in front and 45 in rear. no problems with rubbing or steering stops. I had 255/45's orignally on the front and nothing outside the fender. I am currently running 265/50's and they definitely fill the wheel well. As for the rear you should be fine with the 43, can't see 2mm making that much of a difference, if it does I believe you can get a spacer to make the difference up.

ok thanks for the help guys! And yeah I dont care about the back as much as I do the front because I dont want to have to put the steering stops on. Do you have lowering springs on your car? If so how much is it lowered? Because that will tell me what size tire I can get because I also would like to upgrade tires. Thanks guys again!

I have the BMR springs which I think work for about 1" in front and 1.25 out back.

As for tire size, stock diameter is about 27" which on an 18" rim is usually 255/45 front and 275/40 rear with the stagger. I have seen them offered lately with a 285/40 in the rear as well and it helps the look a little. the 275/40 is a little smaller diameter than the front 255/45 and the sidewall proportions are just off in appearance to my eyes.

If you go with larger tire diameters will have to recalibrate your speedo with a tuner.

I am not running any sort of steering stops and never rubbed anything with the smaller 255/45's up front. with the larger 265/50's it just barely touches the fender liner, but does not touch the fender or any suspension parts. And that is only at full lock.
