I've seen that it cost less to get a cast iron block and that they can handle higher hp. The obvious downside is that it weighs more, but how much more? I'm seriously thinking about going with a mmr 4.6 liter annihilator instead of rebuilding my block. |

the stock 4.6L Windsor block (vs Romeo) can handle 700hp, and are relatively cheap, and only weigh 10-15lbs more than the Romeo. This came directly from FRP, specifically engineer Tim DeRonne, a personal associate of mine. |
