That does seem alittle high for the pulley and a tune. You might want to shop around. Is that installing the pulley also? |

That does seem kind of high. does that include the chip as well. and i 'd check with JPC in Glen Burnie and with CJ pony Parts in Harrisburg, 1 800 888 6473 to see what they charge. maybe they are charging you Saleen prices. |

The pulley is @ $100. If you are mechanically inclined install the pulley yourself, google it, its actually very easy as long as you buy a pulley puller. Also try McNews Automotive in Dillsburg Pa or there are a couple good tuners mentioned on svtperformance like Jon Lund. |

Baseline dyno is done! For the stock setup and tune from Saleen, I averaged about 305 rwhp and 345 torque on 3 passes at 5-7lbs of boost. It's originally tuned to run on 91 octane (california built car), so it will be retuned to optimize it for 93 octane. Then we add the new fuel pump, pulley, gears, and some new spark plugs. Next dyno is on monday. I can't wait to see what happens! |
