I've had a really difficult 2014 and I just jumped off the grid on most every form of online communication. Well I did do a semi expensive form of therapy and I rebuild my engine and it is really strong now. I hope our club will do a dyno gig in the future as I'd like to know exactly what I have. A few pictures of my Scarlett. I kept quiet about things as I am really private and frankly we all a lot on our plates to be worried about other folks. But nevertheless I look forward to catching up with you all this year. I still have things to do un der the hood to clean up some holes and whatnot and it is always a work in progress. ![]()

I opted all new parts and all of the explorer/ Lightening intakes are hinkey and so all new means clean and flawless. And the sound is really strong and open and much more crisp than I expected. Yep it was costly and I am having that mid-life I guess..... ![]() |

Yes new edelbrock heads, e-cam rods, lifters, valves, injectors. Honed the cylinders our and new rings and bam. BTW hinkey referred to the ones online and the prices and so I figured for the same price I can have new and plug and play and no wondering. New computer also and I have new struts and shocks and my ole girl cruises like a new car except for a little wind noise. That dual fan kicks but and with my thermostat at 155 degree it barely comes of 130 degrees because of the cold weather. Those fans pull a lot more air in at a constant speed which I think is a value add overall. So happy hunting and looking good and hopefully this year we'll cross paths. |
