Found this while swapping out a new front bumper since the old one was tweaked on the driver side....
Wanted to know why there was only one bolt holding the bumper bracket to the frame on the passenger side.
At least I can get the sheared bolt dealt with at the same time as the frame repair. Fortunately the driver side is OK....

You must have one of the rare Mustangs form California. I heard they were the first to adopt emissions controls and front crumple zones for safety. :)

How did you replace that piece?

It had to be cut out, then a piece of ten gauge was welded in place after drilling the holes and welding the nuts to the inside. The weld bead was then smoothed out and painted with Rust-o-ilium and a final coat of black...
Wish I could claim responsibility, but I do not have the welding skills.

Nicly done. I wish I knew where they cut and welded. Neat. Thanks for sharing.
