Post subject:  Using the TurtleWax Black Box kit on the BlackJack?
I'm stumping every help desk person I talk to about this so I'm asking the car crazy public. I'm considering using the TurtleWax Black Box kit on my Roush BlackJack, it is black and all. However I am concerned about the possible effects on the vinyl matte black center stripe on the car since the product is a more traditional wax, which normally reacts adversely on vinyl. In the past I've been using the ICE liquid polish and just waxing right over the top of it and I'm not sure :confused3: if I could do that with the Black Box material even though it would be sort of color matched. Anyone have any experience with this? Also, if anyone has used the Black Box kit on a daily or ocasional driver, I would love to get some feedback on how long the wax lasts under normal weather exposure.

I hear great stuff about the "Box" but not about the stripe matter. Suggest you contact Turtle wax with ???

I bought a Mercedes a few weeks ago and decided to use the "Black Box" on it. The difference is amazing! I used it all the trim (Which is painted black) I did get some of it on the rubber around the window seals and did`nt notice any white film.

Heather used this on her Subaru and it got on the flat black bumper covers with no problems. Not sure what it will do to vinyl.

You might wanna try a test place on the bottom underside of you bumper before you take the plunge. You`ll be amazed how wet it looks!

Well if it doesn't seem to produce a negative effect on the plastic or rubber it may be ok, will try to find a test area or get a sample from roush to do a test.
