I just finished installing a 99-01 Cobra Style bumper on my 2000GT. I thought I'd post some pics and give some instructions for anyone else considering changing the front bumper cover. So here goes...
Removing the old bumper:
1. Remove the screw clips from behind the grill above the radiator cover.
2. Remove the clips from below the grill on the bottom of the car.
3. Remove one screw from the driver side front fenderwell and one screw from the passenger side front fenderwell.
4. Reach behind the drivers side fenderwell and find the two nuts. With a 7/16" socket, unbolt the two nuts.
5. Repeat step-4 on the passengers side.
6. Theres a clip below each headlight. Push the bumper down around the headlights and pull the bumper away from the car.
7. Disconnect the foglight wire harness from the foglight assemblies.
8. The bumper cover is now completely loose from the car and can be removed.
