In an effort to promote joint programming the Mustang Club of Maryland has been asked by the Mustang Club of Central PA to post information about their upcoming events that may be of interest to our club members. With that in mind I have been communicating with their Vice President Max Remington, III about our upcoming Car Shows, the Bob Davidson & H&H Car Shows in September. In addition to the Mustang Roundup to be held at the Carlisle, PA Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 30th I am also posting their Covered Bridge Tour which is scheduled to take place on October 26, 2014 in Lancaster, PA. This is an annual event and the tour route changes every year. Several members of our club have taken this cruise and have highly recommended this event. For more details on this event: http://mjcol3.wix.com/bridge-cruise-home or email born2cruise@frontier.com Steve Tapper MCOM Treasurer |

Sounds fun although I doubt I would be able to attend. I bet it will be a really nice event and with the leaves turning I am sure quite a site. |

Oh man, I haven't done the bridges up there in forever. Used to ride my Harley up there alot. There was one that had a "hog crossing" sign and gate, and we all parked our Harleys in front of it and got our pictures taken! I'll have to see what my exam schedule is. Doing 2 accelerated classes this semester... |

I heard about this cruise while up at the CJ Pony show. It is a well recieved cruise in that area. I was thinking of going. It is a bit far to go, but I'd like to do it at least once. Any one else thinking of going? It is the same day as the Mid-Atlantic Cobra Assoc's spirted Catoctin Mountain Cruise. Thier cruise slogan is "Keep up or move over." |

Received this email today from Mike Cole, coordinator of the Cruise I received the following from Oregon Dairy: Hi, We welcome your group to our restaurant on October 26. We open at 8 AM. We do have donuts & coffee available for take out. Our breakfast menu is also available for take-out, however if there are a lot of take-outs, the processing time for all them orders will be long. If you wanted to dine-in, you would want to be at the door when we open at 8 AM. It takes approximately 45-60 minutes to dine here before 9. After that you can add 30/45 + minutes of waiting. If you know that a lot of the cruisers will be coming into the restaurant for breakfast it would be great to have a heads up. Please let me know if you plan on eating breakfast at Oregon Dairy so I can let them know. The maps and directions are ready to send out, but I want to run the route before sending them. I hope to do that tomorrow. If so, and there are no unexpected problems with the route, I will send them out tomorrow. If you have not yet confirmed that you are joining the cruise, please do so ASAP. Thanks, Mike Cole. If you are planning to go on the cruise, be sure to contact Mike at born2cruise@frontier.com and let him know you want to go. The Clearys and us will probably be traveling up 222/272 through Lancaster to Oregon Dairy. If anyone in Harford or Cecil Counties or the east side of the city wants to team up for the ride to Oregon Dairy let me know and we can agree on a meeting point. Bruce |

Three cars (Di and I, the Clearys, and friends in a Camaro) are leaving from Harford County on Sunday morning and heading up through Lancaster for the cruise. We are planning for a breakfast stop at a diner on the northern side of Lancaster then continuing on to Oregon Dairy for the cruise. Anyone from the east side of Baltimore that wants to meet up and travel together on the trip to Oregon Dairy is welcome to join us. |

The latest update sent out today by the cruise organizer says about 100 cars are registered for the cruise. And with the weather being forecast as really nice, it should be a blast. Look forward to seeing the other MCOM members that are participating in the cruise. |
