Good Morning Mustang Club & Others:

My good friends Patti and Phil Steinberg are members of the group that runs Camp Opportunity of Maryland which provides a week long sleep-away summer camp for at risk children (abused/neglected) from the Baltimore metropolitan area. http://campopportunity.org/ Every year they choose a theme movie for the basis of the lessons, etc for camp. This year it is the movie "Cars" and Patti called me to see if we could get some of our Mustang friends together for an impromptu car show for the kids. This will be on Tuesday July 29 6-8 PM at the Hashawa/Bear Branch Nature Center in Carroll County. 300 JOHN OWINGS ROAD

Directions:
Route 140 to route 97N
Travel N on route 97 for 3 miles
Turn right on John Owings Rd. (next to Carroll County Sports Complex)
Travel 1.5 miles to Hashawha Rd.
Turn left on Hashawha Rd.
Travel 1/4 mile to Bear Branch Nature Center on right
Hashawha Environmental Center ahead on Left

I am checking to see if Vicki, myself and at least one Therapy Pet is available tonight. I will need to leave work early and wash the car today also. What time should we try to arrive?

I wish Rich and I could attend tonight but he is working and I have plans with my mom. This event is right in our backyard.

Di has physical therapy for her surgery tonight at 4pm. It usually lasts about an hour or more and its an hour drive for us to get to Westminster. We'll see how time goes.

Thank You Dave Rummel (and Vicky) for coming out. Ended up there were 9 cars total (not all Mustangs) but we had the best showing with two Mustangs and only one corvette in the mix. It was fun and the kids seemed to enjoy it.
