I was lucky enough to participate last year so I'll forgo the parade this time around. For those of you who do get to participate it is a great experience!

| Post subject: | White Marsh Holiday Parade at the Avenue |
This year the White Marsh holiday parade will be held on Saturday December 5th 2009 at the Avenue. Line up for the parade begins at 8:30 am and the parade starts at 10 am. Since there is a 12 car limit for this parade we will have a lottery to determine who rides. I will need 12 definites with 3 back-ups. Please let me know if you are interested and I will begin to make a list. We can do the lottery at the November meeting. I think it was decided at the Sept meeting this past week that if you participated in the parade last year, you won't be able to ride in it this year to give others a chance. I received some additional information on this parade over the weekend. We are #13 in line out of 56 entries. That is a great spot for us! I am very exciting about this parade. A few things to remember if you are participating in the WM parade this year: Registration and line up will take place on the Corporate Place I Parking lot off of Corporate Drive. Corporate Drive will be closed from Honeygo Blvd. to Town Center Drive by 7:30 am. This means you MUST enter the line up area at the intersection of Corporate Drive and Town Center Drive. This area can be accessed by taking Sandpiper Circle (from Honeygo Blvd by WM library) then a left onto Corporate- or, take Campbell Blvd. to Town Center Drive. I will be registering our group at 8 am. Line up for the parade begins at this time. There will be a marker with our name on it in the approximate line location. I will get exact location once I register our group that morning. Please be in this area no late than 9:00 am. The parade begins at 10 am. This is a rain or shine event. Also, if there is a sign that we can use- like the one that was used in the Kingsville Parade this past July, please let me know. I would like to have this for the WM parade.
