I received a letter from Carlisle today. Since we didn't get 25 cars registered last year, we will need to put up a deposit of $150 to get a club tent again for the Carlisle All-Fords event. If we get 25 or more cars registered and listed as "Mustang Club of Maryland", we will be refunded the deposit money. If we don't, we don't get it back. So here's the big questions... 1. Do we want to pay the deposit for a tent? 2. Do we think we can get 25+ club cars registered? 3. Are we willing to spend the $150 if we don't make the numbers? Another option is to team with another club and share a tent. I'd personally love to see us with our own tent again. And put up an awesome showing of way more than 25 Stangs with an awesome themed tent! What do you think? Please post up and let us know. |

I vote for the tent. However spending club funds can only be approved at a meeting. So I would say bring it up for a vote at the meeting next week. At least this will get you the potential participation...however we all know how that goes....remember the bull and shrimp feast. |
