Looks like we have enough interest to do it. We just need a volunteer to organize the group on the day of the event. Like I said, I can coordinate with the parade coordinator ahead of time and I believe Mark has us squared away with the meeting spot (A parking lot 1-block from the parade start). We just need someone to step up to be a leader for a day. One other thing...If you do get a dignitary to shuttle for the parade, you may need to limit your car to a driver only. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to bring a passenger along. |

The times have been confirmed. We need to have everyone meet at the parking lot under I83 overpass at Guilford Rd at 11AM (I'll post maps of the location). We need to be at the parade staging area on Monument St by 12PM. The parade begins at 2PM. We can setup a 10AM meet at Carney park-n-ride if there's interest. SCHEDULE: 10AM: Meet at Carney park-n-ride...possibly if enough interest? 11AM: Meet at lot under I83 overpass. 12PM: Be at the parade staging area on Monument st near the monument. 2PM: Parade begins. Hardtop owners...There is a possibility that up to 4 max hardtop Stangs may be able to participate. Still getting a final count of verts & awaiting confirmation from the parade officials about how many verts are needed. I should know early next week. If you are interested, I'll start a standby list. Keep in mind that I probably won't be able to confirm until Mon/Tues. Just post up & I'll take the first couple posted and add to the standby list. |
