WOW! What an awesome show today! Lots of great cars... frozen T-shirt contest... live rock band... radio station broadcasting... best exhaust rumble-off... and the stunt car doing burnouts, donuts & riding on two wheels. There was a ton of entertainment to take in today! Thank you Scott for putting this spectactular event together. Awesome job! And thanks to all the volunteers who make it happen.

Amen Corey. Cudos to Scott and the team. It was the whole Ma-gill-a. The only thing possibly missing was a girl out of a cake, but on second thought, there were the food servers. Inside joke, you had to have been there.

Couldn't help think of Adam and Hedi on the way up, as I heard a little voice in my head asking, "Is this really going to be worth the $, time, and drive. Totally worth it. Good people - good show, cool cars and trophies are just icing.

Great pictures on that link Errol. :btu:

Hopefully someone took some more photos as I'm sure there were a lot of cars to take pictures of at this event.

I see that Bob's car looked really sharp! :banana2:

Many thanks to all who helped make this a success! I can definitely use feedback to make next year's better! I tried to keep it interesting with stuff happening almost all the time...even stupid stuff like "first one to the mike wearing flip flops wins the prize!" It was a lot of fun to run and you all made it easy! Kevin took over 600 photos...so once I get them sorted, I'll post 'em. I think the "Kid's Choice Coolest Car" was a success and really got the kids involved...plus, the winner of the trophy seemed really surprised and happy! You should have seen the look on his son's face! It was priceless. We need to get the kids involved in these...they are our future and will keep the hobby going. It's all about making memories and I think we made a few last weekend. And thanks to Century for allowing me to put the '67 in the show room. It's hard to believe that 6 months ago it looked like a POS. I was proud to have it in the showroom. It made all the blood sweat and tears worthwhile. I got a lot of people offering to give me the sticker price of $3,425! Go figure. LOL! Again, thanks to all who worked so hard to make this show a success.

Thank you Scott for all of your hard work in organizing and making this show such a success.

By making the car show interesting, interactive, and involving the kids you showed us the formula for making these car shows a family affair. This is when the kids start dreaming about these cars and is a great time to get them interested in the hobby.

I visited with Christine from the Adopt-A-Pet Animal Shelter to get her feedback and she was so impressed with the way the show was run. They really enjoyed being there and did well selling shirts and participating in the 50-50 drawing where the winner donated his winnings over to the shelter. Christine also mentioned that they took an application to adopt some baby kittens once they are eligible for adoption which should be in a week or so.

You and Kevin have done an awesome job of restoring your 67' Mustang. I'm sure it was a real thrill to see it sitting on the showroom floor! :btu:

I'm looking forward to seeing some of those photos that Kevin took at the show.
