I called Plaza Ford. They said they would order me an airbag and call me when it was in. Ford 2004 – Ford Ranger 2005 – 2006 Ford GT 2005 – 2007 Ford Mustang Total Fords involved in the recall: 58,669Ford |

I did not get a recall letter. Other forums have said the the recall has been extended to 2014. I am not looking forward to some tech crawling in and out of my ride. I had a recall on the passenger side air bag and that was stressful enough. |

its on my 14 also....... of course Ford doesn't have the parts to fix it yet...not a good answer..imo |

Well you can bet because of the global need that a lot of "other" companies are making replacement airbags and they might be up to the same quality requirements and I would also bet the over sight is also lacking with some of those others in the business right now. I've been hearing a lot of excuses and not enough root cause being presented to the world wide public. Hopefully I am really wrong and only top shelf parts are being manufactured. |

When this information about the air bags for came out I called Len Stoler Ford in Owings Mills to find out about the recall. They took my name and Vin # and told me that they would notify me when the parts were available. I received a card in the mail and scheduled an appointment to have the repair done on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. They replaced the airbag and inflator on the drivers steering wheel at no charge.
