Shelby continues to expand its impressive lineup of offerings for the new Ford Mustang.
Making its debut in the Ford booth at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Ariz. this past weekend, the 2015 Shelby GT is based on the latest Mustang GT model before receiving a plethora of goodies from Ford Racing Performance Parts, Shelby and other aftermarket components. To whet your appetite, the 2015 Shelby GT gets supercharged to bring performance to 627 hp, but is capable of reaching over 700 hp.
Along with the supercharger for the GT’s engine, Shelby also outfits the sports car with 3.73 gears, a Borla exhaust, Weld Racing wheels, Michelin tires and Wilwood six-piston front brake calipers. Exterior upgrades include a carbon fiber body kit and billet aluminum front grilles. The 2015 Shelby GT will be certified for use in all 50 states. The company will charge $39,995, which does not include the base price of the vehicle.
